Overall, it is regarded as a neighborhood gem that balances good food, drinks, and a friendly environment.
The Pine Tavern is a bad at the corner (and bottom end) of Ballard that has a bunch of local beers on tap, lots of seating, and a surprisingly good food menu of BBQ food. The staff is friendly here, parking outside is usually easy to find (unless Shelter is packed) and they have indoor, semi indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely try out the brisket and chopped brat sandwich and the Mac and cheese, pretty low price for a good portion and good quality.
The drinks and food are not that much better than most other spots around town. It’s the folks who work here that really make this place something special. A really awesome staff run the place. Good atmosphere and prices. Definitely a place you’ll want to frequent.
Chill place with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, creative drinks, mezcal!, and some cool games to take part of too! Bartender was super friendly, even though it was her second day. Very knowledgeable However, since she is the bar manager at the High Dive. Really into this gem for fun book dates or game playing with my partner or a group.
Nice, no frills place for a drink and some food! The pulled pork sandwich and macaroni salad was amazingggg!
Well forget the rest this is the best. Aloha Aaron this guy is a excellent conversationalist !
I was there the first evening in Ballard, and I try to be there on my last. Became my living room in Seattle in an instant. Just the place you want to for late drink with friends, for a game night or to dive alone at the bar. Drinks are down to earth, food is great and with fair prices. Pinball. Shuffle Board. Magnet chess. Want to be there in Summer again. Thanks, Karl, for letting me live there. And the Underberg.
Good times had by all. Had a nice time with a couple of regulars and the female bartender whose very unique nickname skips my mind (Merve?). Love the Peanuts kitsch. Snoopy lack of eyes follow you everywhere you move!Good prices, nice atmosphere. Just wish I wasn't staring at some guy's nipple in a Polaroid on the post the whole time! Dog pics were cute though. Dog friendly is awesome, and there's a big outdoor space too.
Always friendly service. Unassuming but good food. Dog friendly! TVs for sports if you want. Pinball!
